Moose are my absolute favorite animal we have in Alaska. I have them in my yard regularly, and although they can be a pest at times (like when they discover my strawberry plants), I always love to watch them. I would love to be able to give them a big hug around the neck, but I understand that’s probably the last thing I’d do.

Each summer we have a couple mama’s bring their new born calves around our property. The babies light up my spring and summer every time they’re in my yard. They are just the cutest most awkward things to watch, especially when they play with each other. The baby in this design is getting a quick kiss from his mama.
